Your World

Lorenzo Quinn.

Your World, by artist Lorenzo Quinn, is a work that conveys a universal message: the shared responsibility of protecting our planet. The sculpture, cast in bronze and standing at an imposing height of 10.5 meters, depicts two hands holding the world with delicacy and strength at the same time. A symbolic gesture that reminds us that the future depends on our present decisions.

This piece is a natural continuation of “Support,” the famous monumental hands that emerged in Venice’s Grand Canal during the 2017 Biennale. While the goal on that occasion was to raise awareness about human impact on the climate, Your World expands that message by holding up the planet. It is a global call for environmental preservation and collective responsibility.

At Capa Esculturas, we have had the honor of participating in the production of this work, applying our experience in large-scale bronze casting to this monumental piece. The process has been demanding in terms of technical precision, structural control, and careful application of patina, in order to achieve the finish that identifies Lorenzo Quinn’s work. Today, this monumental sculpture stands in the Netherlands, at the headquarters of AFAS Software, as a symbol of hope, unity, and commitment to the environment.
