Happy Mountain

Marría Pratts.

Happy Mountain 9cim is a monumental sculpture 2.20 meters high, created by artist Marría Pratts and produced by Capa Esculturas in 2025. The work was presented by the Mayoral Gallery at the ARCO fair, held at IFEMA, and was consolidated as one of the most unique and striking pieces of the edition.

Cast in bronze with a green patina, the sculpture presents a rough and irregular surface, with a silhouette reminiscent of a living mountain, full of gesture and texture. In it, almost facial forms emerge from the material, provoking a mixture of surprise, humor and expressive force.

The project began with a 25-centimeter model, modeled by the artist herself. This initial version was scanned in high definition, which allowed it to be digitally enlarged with great fidelity. The full-scale model was then directly intervened in the workshop together with Marría Pratts, ensuring that the plastic and energetic language of the original was preserved.

After this intervention, the bronze casting was carried out, incorporating a reinforced interior structure to facilitate transportation and guarantee the stability of the work in its presentation and future exhibitions.

Happy Mountain 9cim is an example of how technology, sculptural craft and artistic vision intertwine in a collaborative process that results in a powerful, personal and profoundly contemporary work.
