It is the work &#8220;A la sombra de los perros&#8221; by Santiago de la Quintana, a sculptural installation that represents much more than three unique figures.<\/p>\n\n<p>This project, developed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.capaesculturas.com\">Capa Esculturas<\/a>, is an ode to the union between nature and art, life and human creation. With these three sculptures that symbolize the fusion between trees and dogs, the work invites the spectators to contemplate them.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Stainless steel: Reflecting modernity and permanence<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The work is made of stainless steel with a corten finish, a material meticulously chosen for its resistance to weathering and its visual characteristics. Thanks to this it allows us a modern and durable perspective, always integrated in its urban landscape environment.<\/p>\n\n<p>This type of stainless steel is characterized by a natural self-protective layer that forms on its surface, allowing its resistance with almost no maintenance. This metalwork technique demonstrates the ability of the operators to work in a material that beautifies and integrates the work in a natural way.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A work of art to see and reflect on<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The work is located in the traffic circle that joins Ganaderos Street and Jorge Juan Street in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid). This traffic circle in the Madrid municipality invites interaction, where visitors can see a play of light and shadow created by the cut-out shapes of the metal. As the sun filters through the steel sheets, ephemeral patterns are drawn on the ground that transform the experience into something personal and unique to each observer.<\/p>\n\n<p>This is why artist Santiago de la Quintana&#8217;s dogs become a living canvas that celebrates transitory beauty and interaction with the environment. It invites us to stop and reflect on our relationship with art and nature.
