Fanny Galera at the Madridfusión Gastrofestival

CAPA participate with the exhibition Algo se cuece, by sculptor Fanny Galera, within the framework of different activities organized by the town council of Madrid and Madridfusión on the occasionn of the celebration of the 1st edition of “Madridfusión Gastrofestival” from January 25th to January 31st.

Fanny Galera`s sculptor are gags, recipes which combine humor and irony in the same part, which is presented to us in a “ I laugh at myself”. Plates, small saucepan and fork, strainer and pan, All objects related to her characters, They convert themselves in a metaphor thread of her recreations. They change their practical function and they become secondary ironic which give sense to the character of each scene, the human being and the way he is related to the world around him.

All the character represented, from the first to the last are small and peaceful warriors in a daily fight for their vital territory. That space where we feel free. Picture of that who fight to get his space and wait as a random, “the dessert”.
